How to Disable Use Quality of Service

In some situations disabling quality of service fixes the 'Remote Host Closed the Connection' when you attempt to join a Mumble Server.

  1. Opening the Settings Window
    At the top of the Mumble program click on the menu option "Configure" then click "Settings".

  2. Activate Advanced Mode
    Towards the bottom left of the Settings Window ensure that the "Advanced" checkmark is selected.

  3. Network Section
    On the left hand side click on the "Network" option to open the network settings for Mumble.

  4. Quality of Service
    Uncheck the "Use Quality of Service" option and then click on the "Apply" button in the bottom right.
